Renaissance Introduction.
The renaissance was a cultural movement and its name means
rebirth. It began in Italy and spread to the north including England and was a renewal of interests and studies.
It produced new discoveries in art, science, politics, religion, literature and people began to break free from the medieval feudal society. Ideas were spread and it directly affected how people lived.
